Nexus Motion just recently finished a projection map for Premier Illuminations at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. The show will run during their Summer Nights portion of the year every night after dark every 15 minutes. Premier's owner, David Hare, took care of all the event coordination and gear. Nexus hired Convergence Production Group owned by Jared Bueng to handle all aspects of the projection calculation and servers. Nexus utilized photogrammetry to create a detailed model of the building and use Jared's specific measurements to recreate the scene and pre-viz. Convergence custom built a server to project the video files using twelve double-stacked 30k projectors and merge all the content seamlessly. Stay tuned for behind the scenes videos.
