ADULT SWIM - MOSTLY 4 MILLENNIALS

Totally a dream come true. We had the opportunity to collaborate on a piece for the folks at Adult Swim with Nick DenBoer (Smearballz). The piece was for their newest show Mostly 4 Millennials. In this spot we motion tracked Thomas the Vape Engine into the scene and animated the mouth movements, and vomiting. Not your typical project, but so much fun to work on.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM NEXUS MOTION!

Happy Holiday's from us at Nexus Motion and Brograph.com. To celebrate, we wanted to create something fun that everyone could enjoy. So we made this Rankin Bass style animated Christmas card. The whole thing was written, recorded & fully animated in only a few weeks.

DEADMAU5 BROGRAPH JAM 2

We recently had the opportunity to collaborate again with Deadmau5 on his concert visuals for his New Years Eve show. This time around we did seven straight days in Toronto, on site, while live streaming the whole event. We had a fantastic time and came away with some really kick ass material.

In addition to working on the concert visuals, we were super pumped to work on his super secret New Years Eve countdown. We worked with Justin Roiland, the creator and voices of Adult Swim's Rick & Morty, as well as the super talented team of people VR Chat. Together we were able to bring Rick and Morty to Deadmau5's cube as they try to defuse what they think is a time bomb counting down to imminent death.

We were really excited to see all the positive feedback we got from the concert. It was even featured in The AV Club, NME, Nerdist & Uproxx.

THE MIDNIGHT CLUB STUDIO

We were asked by The Midnight Club Studio to help produce a six second animation based around the theme "Time". It was the dream job. Complete and total creative freedom. The only stipulation was the theme and their logo. They were compiling animations from all the best artists around the globe for a short film introducing their studio.

So, of course, as lovers of pop culture, we decided to create an animation that referenced time travel from several different films. There are 8 total references to time travel in pop culture. See if you can name them all.

Or you can check out the behind the scenes time-lapse of how we created the whole animation.

FAST SIGNS

We recently had the chance to work with Fast Signs on the compositing and animation in their latest national commercial campaign. We were on site as effects supervisors, and then rotoscoped, motion tracked, and animated all their signs. It was a super fun project to be a part of.

DEADMAU5 BROGRAPH JAM

We recently made our way up to Toronto to help Deadmau5 with creating concert visuals for his upcoming tour. We had the opportunity to document the whole trip as well as interview him about his process and how he uses Cinema 4D in his workflow.

EMMY NOMINATED CHRISTMAS CARD

This was an animated Christmas Card we created for Haynes Boone, along with Holmes Millet. This spot was nominated for a Lone Star Emmy.

HEALTHCARE.GOV ANIMORPHIC GRAPHICS

We had the opportunity to help out on some quick spots counting down the the final hours till open enrollment ended on Healthcare.gov. The client shot some plates and we were tasked with "projecting" the hours onto the walls. It was a super fun project chocked full of motion tracking and 3D animation.

CAN YOU SMELL WHAT POKE ROCK IS COOKIN'?

The Rock recently created his own YouTube channel and is collaborating on videos with tons of YouTube influencers. We were super pumped to be able to help out with several of his videos. Two of which, were jumping on the Pokemon Go craze. We were tasked with creating a Pokemon version of The Rock called Pokerock. Both videos involved motion tracking, modeling, animating, & UI recreation. It was all worth it, with the first video getting over 3 million views. The success of the first Pokerock video let to a sequel with Seth Rogan where we actually brought Pokerock into the real world.

We also got the opportunity to help on The Rock's Halloween video, where we tasked with creating the ambient atmospheric particles for bringing The Rock back from the dead.

VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

With the recent outbreak of Zika virus and the dangers it posed to expecting mothers, The Virgina Department of Health decided they wanted to create some commercials the help educated and inform. We were excited to help out on this project because we knew they were wanting a 2D cartoon look. We were able to flex our animation muscles by using a mixture of 2D Illustrated & 3D toon-shaded elements. Overall, both the client, and we, were very pleased with how it turned out.
